   Dr Courtney Scott - Veterinarian
Hi, I’m Courtney and I would like to thank everyone for their support since our change of ownership in July 2020.
It has been a very exciting time for myself and the Clinic!
I was very lucky to have worked alongside Vicki on and off for six months before the changeover which allowed me to learn the flow of the clinic and meet some of you, the lovely clients of the surgery.
Charleville has always been local for me due to growing up on a cattle station near Windorah and completing primary school through the Charleville School of Distance Education. Vicki was always our vet growing up, and I even did placement at the clinic throughout my university studies.
Since graduating I have worked mostly in mixed practice, and for the last nine months have been locuming across the country learning new skills from a variety of different clinics.
I love all aspects of veterinary practice, but my passions are small animal surgery, and horse and cattle reproduction. I was even lucky enough to travel to the USA to learn at a specialist equine hospital in my final year of uni! I hope that with time I will be able to offer large animal services again at the surgery.
In my time off, I love competing on my horses, looking after my little mob of cattle, keeping fit or hanging out with my naughty Jack Russell, Reggie!
I can’t wait to meet you all soon, and thank you to everyone who has supported me in taking on this new and exciting venture!
